Koh Samui

Well we have arrived safely yesterday after about 11 hours on flight, slept most of it so that was a bonus. Had to wait in Bangkok airport for about 3 hours and then to Koh Samui, only 45 min. flight, the resort is just amazing, and I know we better savor every moment because our accomodation will not be like this for a long time ( as Noel reminds me:)
Its 90 degrees but lots of rain/thunder and lightning the last 24 hours, probably a good thing as it forced us to sleep...alot. We are assuming there will be plenty of sunshine in the next 2 months so we wont mind the rain. Our bodies are a little unsure of the time but will adjust I imagine.
The spa is booked for tomorrow and I am again reminded by my husband these pleasures will only be allowed in the first week.

So this will be a great way to keep in touch so thanks for the comments....and I liked the definition Mary...hopefully there will be more harmony than anything else:):)

Take Care

ok...this blog here is in another language, and apparently not Thai cause we wanted to make sure we were posting it and the gentleman here does not know......so will take a guess and hope it works

Hey there
Waiting to hear how great the spa was...I'm sure you're having a great time and that you are all rested. Mom has your itinerary on hanging on the fridge and has been looking for her globe to figure out where all the places are but we must have misplaced that talking globe in all the cleaning:) So she says she is going to AAA to get maps and follow your trip...she's too cute! Make sure you send them postcards:)

Hi guys,

I was in with Dick last night and we have a plan, he's in charge of the fish as he looks kinda like captain Birdseye. I shall keep the car running. Take care and watch out for the full moon party. Being at work is brutal by the way so enjoy the trip.

Seamus.

Hi Noel & Maureen!
Thanks so much for including us in your big day. It was a great wedding and reception! Although brief, Ellen and I enjoyed our time in Michigan. I'm in debt to the couple we sat next to because "Frank" filled in as Ellen's dance partner during the "Siege of Venice." I am no "Noel" on the dance floor, that's for sure! Ellen is still getting used to being called Mrs. Buchanan and reminds me when someone calls her that. Enjoy your trip, I know Noel's worked very hard and you both deserve a relaxing time together. Our gift to you will be waiting in Ireland when you get back.

All Best,
- Travis & Ellen
